Jeremiah Choy is a trained lawyer who went full-time into the arts in 1997. He is presently a director, producer and a curator.
Earlier in 2014, he directed Tikam Tikam, a Circus Arts-Theatre performance for the International Clown and Mime Festival in Incheon and a segment for Ways of Wandering for the Singapore International Festival of Arts. He was the producer and director of Kitchen Confidante and Salusuah Ver 3.0 for Play Den Productions. He was also the show director for ChildAid 2014 – All Stars Edition, a charity project he has been involved since 2011.
In 2015, Jeremiah is also an Adjunct Lecturer with the Singapore Management University , teaching a Festival and Events module. Jeremiah will take on the role of Creative Director for May Day Rally, Singapore Day (Shanghai) and Spotlight Singapore in Mexico City. He will also be involved in Esplanade Presents The Studios: fifty. In August, he will be the Creative Director of Sing50, a concert celebrating 50 years of music in Singapore at the new SportsHub.
Jeremiah was awarded the inaugural Outstanding Kent Ridge Hall Alumni award in 2010. He founded the Orangedot Group of Companies comprising Productions, Entertainment, Management and Talents.JERE
